Ensure smooth movement of essential service vehicles: Div Com to DCs

SRINAGAR: Amid Coronavirus threat, the Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Pandurang K Pole, directed all Deputy Commissioners (DCs) to ensure smooth movement of essential services vehicles like Health, Ration, Water, PDD and other services across valley.

In case of short fall of manpower in essential services department, he also directed DCs to take employees from non-essential services departments voluntary and fulfill the gaps.

It is mandatory that essential services departments perform their duties without any kind of hassle.

Due to the low footfall on roads, Pole also directed DCs to ensure proper sanitation on main roads, drains and other neglected places in their respective districts.

He appealed people to co-operate with the administration and adhere to the advisories issued by Health Department to stay safe and to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
