Srinagar, Mar 06: The body of a teenager was fished out from Jhelum river in summer capital Srinagar Thursday evening , an officials said on Friday.
According to reports, the body of the teenager was retrieved from the River Jehlum at Shivpora area of Sonawar.
The deceased has been identified as 18-years-old Shahid Fayaz, son of Fayaz Ahmad Laway, resident of Noorabad Kulgam.
Police while conforming the recovery of the body said it will be handed over to family after completing medico-legal formalities.
He said that a case has been registered and investigation is going on.
