Police recovers hand-grenades in Sopore
Srinagar, Mar 06: Security Forces on Friday recovered three hand-grenades from an orchard in Sopore town of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
According to reports, security forces launched a cordon and search operation in orchards of Krankshivan near railway crossing and recovered three grenades.
Local news agency KNS reported that a “top” police officer confirmed that three hand-grenades have been recovered during the searches and said that the case has been registered and investigation taken up.
Few days ago, an SPO and a civilian were killed and a cop was injured in a militant attack in Wagoora area of Sopore.
