LAWDA demolishes 7 illegal construction in Saidakadal, Chek-Saderabal, Nigeen

SRINAGAR, FEBRUARY 29: A demolition drive was conducted by the Enforcement wing of the Lakes and Waterways Development Authority (LAWDA) under the supervision of Enforcement Officer LDA, SDPO Zakura and SHO Nigeen in the Saidakadal, Check-Saderable and Nigeen areas.

During the drive, seven illegal constructions including a house, 02 shops, tin shed, three tin-walls and a foot bridge were demolished by the team.

The people residing within the LDA jurisdiction have been asked not to go for any illegal construction or encroachment.

Besides, the Tipper and Load carried owners have also been asked not carry any construction material in the prohibited area of Dal and Nigeen Lake without permission from the concerned authorities.
