Kaul welcomed the members of the union into the BJP and said “the party has earned the trust and respect of people across regions and religions”.

The Congress and other certain regional parties have rightfully earned the wrath of the public and they have lost their base quite fast in the whole of J&K, he claimed.

AJKLWU J&K chief Mahjoor Ahmed Khan, vice-president Sabdar Ali Khan, general secretary Abdul Rashid Dar and finance secretary Bashir Ahmed Khan were among those who joined the saffron party.
