WPL: Aasif Rasool shines as Bijbehara beat RCC by 27 Runs

Sopore, July 16: In the ongoing Wular Premier League, Bijbehara Sports Club defeated RCC Chattabal by 27 runs today here at Sheikhul Alam Sports Ground Tarzoo.

Bijbehara Sports Club won the toss and elected to bat first and put a descent total of 178 runs on the board for the loss of 4 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Aasif played a swashbuckling knock of 78 runs and Liyaqat made 33 runs. For RCC Chattabal, Ajaz took 2 wickets

In Reply, RCC Chattabal failed to chase the target as they fell short of 27 runs. Aasif Bakshi showed some resistance with 27 runs.

For Bijbehara, Aasif Rasool was declared man of the match for his brilliant all round performance of 78 runs and a wicket.

This tournament is organised by Sports Association Tarzoo.
