Sopore, July 06: In the ongoing Wular Premier League (WPL), Star Cricket Club Humhama thrashed Blue star Safapora by a huge margin of 104 runs here at Sheikhul Alam Sports Ground Tarzoo Sopore
Bating first, after a solid start Star Humhama put 218 runs on the board for the loss of six wickets in which Suhail Paul played a remarkable inning of 94 runs and Hyder Ali made 53 runs of 17 balls.
For BS Safapora, Tariq and Waseem took 2 wickets each.
In reply, Blue star Safapora folded on 114 runs with no batsmen showing any resistance.
For Humhama, Rafiq Baba and Touseef took 3 wickets. With this win Star Humhama qualifed for pre-quarter final of WPL 2019.
Suhail Paul was declared man of the match for his memorable performance.
