Umer Ali’s 5-fer helps Baba x1 to defeat Allied Sports Sopore

Sopore, June 10: Today Andergam defeated Ramhall Lions Comphrensively here at Sheikhul Alam Sports Ground Tarzoo in the outskirts of Sopore town.

Ramhall Lions managed to score 137 for the loss of 8 Wickets as the match was reduced to 17 overs only. Waseem 33 and M Shafi made 27 runs for FCC Andergam. Kaiser took 4-fer and Bilal took 2 wickets each.

In reply FCC Andergam achieved the target easily. Aaqib took 2 wickets, Zahoor and Mohammad Shafi took 1 wicket each. Muneer Ahmad was declared man of the match for his all round performance of 62 runs and 1 wicket.

Second match of the day was played between Allied Sports Sopore and Baba x1 Rawalpora in which Baba 11 defeated Allied Sports by 18 runs.

Bating first Baba x1 posted 142 runs on the board in the allotted 20 Overs. For Baba x1 Rawalpora, Mehraj and Irfan scored 26 runs each. Aarif took 3 Irfan and Ishfaq took 2 wickets each.

In reply, Allied Sports Sopore fell short of 18 runs. Pervaiz 22 and Aarif made 20 runs for Baba x1. Umer Ali took 5-fer and Umer Yaseen bagged 2 wickets.

Umer Ali was declared Man of the match for his brilliant bowling Spell.

This Tournament is organized by Sports Association Tarzoo.
