Jammu: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Thursday felicitated international para-archer Payal Nag and para-athlete Chandeep Singh for their recent achievements in international and national competitions.

At Lok Bhavan, the Lieutenant Governor congratulated Payal Nag for scripting history by winning a gold medal at the World Archery Para Series 2026 in Bangkok. He extended his best wishes to the para-archer for her future competitions.

Later, Chandeep Singh called on the Lieutenant Governor, who congratulated him for bringing laurels to Jammu and Kashmir by winning a gold medal at the 4th National Para Taekwondo Championship.

Sinha also assured Chandeep Singh of all possible support and assistance for his preparations for the upcoming Asian Championship.

Among those present during the felicitation of Payal Nag were Sachin Kumar Vaishya, archery coach Abhilasha Chaudhary and other senior officials of the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board.
