Srinagar, May 03: Facing ire of the J&K High Court over its inaction, government on Friday gave the interim charge of Principal Government Medical College (GMC) to Dr Kaiser Ahmad Kaul.
“In compliance of the orders of the Hon’ble Division Bench of High Court of Jammu and Kashmir, Srinagar passed on 3.05.2019 in Contempt No. CPLPA No. 5/2019 in the case titled Javeed Chowdhary V/s B.V.R Subrahmanyam and Others and D.O. letter No. PS/C5-92/2019 dated 03.05.2019 of Chief Secretary, Jammu and Kashmir addressed to the Principal Secretary, Health & Medical Education Department, charge of the post of Principal, Government Medical College, Srinagar is hereby assigned to Dr. Kaisar Ahmed Kaul, Head of Department (Pediatrics), Government Medical College, Srinagar till further orders with immediate effect,” read an order issued this evening by Atal Dulloo, Principal Secretary Health & Medical Education Department.
