Srinagar, March 6, 2019: Senior Peoples Conference leader and candidate for Baramulla Parliamentary Constituency Raja Aijaz Ali has urged the Governor administration to take immediate measures to mitigate the hardships of people from forward areas of Keran Machil and Jumagund.

With depleting ration stock and poor medical facility, the inhabitants of the area are facing extreme hardships. People are reeling under darkness as the area is without power supply since last two months”, he added.

Urging the Governor to immediately direct district administration to ensure greater synergy and concentrated efforts to mitigate the problems faced by the people, Raja Aijaz said, “the administration must make efforts to ensure essential supplies, baby foods and medical supplies reach these far flung areas. The roads must be cleared of snow immediately so that passengers who are stuck can reach their destinations safely. The administration should also consider airlifting of essentials and food products.”

He also thanked the Governor for air-lifting the dead body of martyr police personal to his native village in Tangdhar.
