Raja Aijaz said that the people of forward areas of Tangdhar, Keran, Machil and Jumagund are cut off from the rest of the state as road connectivity still remains a cause of deprivation and depression.

Urging the Governor to immediately direct district administration to ensure greater synergy and concentrated efforts to mitigate the problems faced by the people, Raja Aijaz said, “the administration must make efforts to ensure essential supplies, baby foods and medical supplies reach these far flung areas. The roads must be cleared of snow immediately so that passengers who are stuck can reach their destinations safely. The administration should also consider airlifting of essentials and food products.”
He also thanked the Governor for air-lifting the dead body of martyr police personal to his native village in Tangdhar.
