Srinagr, Feb 25: Former bureaucrat, Farooq Ahmad Shah who recently quit the government service joined National Conference on Monday in presence of party president Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah.
Shah joined the party at NC’s Nawa-e-Subh headquarters in Srinagar.
Shah, who was Secretary PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control and DMRRR, had sought voluntary retirement from the service last week. He has also served at various other top posts including DC Srinagar, DC Anantnag, Director Tourism, Secretary Education and others. (KNS)
