Pulwama, Feb 5: Nine persons were detained by the government forces during overnight raids in two villages of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
A police official said that the forces raided Arigam and Arihal villages of the district and picked up as many as nine persons.
While eight persons were detained from Arigam, one was arrested from Arihal, the official said.
He said that the detainees were being quizzed for their alleged role in various stone-pelting incidents.
