KARGIL JANUARY 28: Deputy Commissioner and CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Vikas Kundal inaugurated the 11th CEC Ice Hockey Championship at Ice Hockey Rink Bemathang here today.

Superintendent of Police Kargil Dr Vinod Kumar, District Youth Services and Sports Officer Kargil Muhammad Jaffar, General Secretary Kargil Ice and Snow Club Aman Ali besides other concerned officers were present on the occasion.

The championship is jointly organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports Kargil and Kargil Ice and Snow Sports Club in which 9 teams from Drass, Chiktan, Wakha Mulbekh and Pashkum, besides 1 team from ITBP Leh are participating.

Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner congratulated the Department of Youth Services and Sports Kargil and Kargil Ice and Snow Sports Club for having organized the ice hockey championship in the district this year as well.
