SDM Tangmarg removes encroachment on state land in Bishnipora Hajibal

Tangmarg, Nov 30: Sub-divisional Magistrate Tangmarg along with his team on Friday removed encroachment on state land in Bishnipora near Goiwara Hajibal village of Tangmarg area of Baramulla district.

Officials told Kashmir Images that some locals have occupied a piece of state land in Goiwara Hajibal village. “As per revenue records the state land is identified vide Khasra No. 127, and 129,” they added.

The officials further said that a team headed by SDM Tangmarg including Tehsildar, Naib Tehsildar, Patwari, SHO along with number of policemen visited the Bishnipora Hajibal village and removed the wood logs in huge quantity from the occupied state land and the occupants were given a deadline to remove the rest of encroachment within days.

Meanwhile, the villagers hailed the action of the authorities which has solved the 15 year long conflict in the village.

Talking to Kashmir Images SDM Tangmarg, Shabir ul Hassan, said: “We have removed the encroachment from the said village and have formed a team to remove the rest of the encroachment.”
