Srinagar, Nov 17: Train service was suspended on Saturday for security reasons in the Kashmir valley, in view of separatist’ shutdown call against panchayat elections.
“We have suspended all train in the Kashmir valley on Saturday,” a senior railway official said.
He said no train will chug on Budgam-Srinagar-Anantnag-Qazigund in south Kashmir to Banihal in Jammu region. Similarly, trains will also not run on Srinagar-Badgam and Baramulla in north Kashmir, he said.
