JAMMU, NOVEMBER 10: A delegation of National Panthers Party led by Prof. Bhim Singh, Patron, National Panthers Party, met Governor Satya Pal Malik at the Raj Bhavan here today.
The delegation comprised Harsh Dev Singh, Balwant Mankotia, Yash Pal Kundal and Anita Thakur.
The delegation apprised Governor about various issues relating to ensuring development and normalcy in the State and certain matters of public welfare and ensuring accountability in administrative functioning.
The members of the delegation urged Governor to expedite allotment of land for constructing houses, as assured, to relocate identified families of village Saddal in Udhampur district which were victims of floods of September 2014 and are now exposed to risks of landslides, flash floods etc.
Governor assured the delegation expeditious examination of their demands and addressing of their concerns.
