Six persons arrested during nocturnal raid in Shopian Village

Shopian: Six persons were arrested during night raids in Chermarg village of South kashmir’s Shopian District last Friday night.
 
Locals of village said, at around 12 am government forces along with 8 vehicles entered into their village and arrested six people including two brothers.
 
“However, government forces have not beaten anybody from the village,” they added.
 
Six people identified as Shahid-ul-Islam bhat
Tahir Ahmad Bhat, Irfan Ahmad Bhat, Asif Ahmad Bhat, and two brothers Imtiyaz Ahmad Bhat and Arshid Ahmad Bhat.
 
Mother of two sons, who were arrested said, they were in deep sleep when forces knocked the windowns of their house as they told us to come out and took two brothers among whom one is electrician and another is doing furniture business in another district.
 
All the six persons arrested belong to Bhat community.
 
When contacted Dysp Zainapora, he said that he is currently not in his office and is unaware about these arrests.”
