Blad Eagle Banihal defeats Super Royal Pahalgam by 3 wickets

Anantnag, Oct 03: In the ongoing Mirza Galib T20 Cricket tournament at Government Degree College Boys Anantnag, Bald Eagle Banihal overpowered Super Royal Pahalgam by defeating them with 3 wickets.

Winning the toss and batting first Super Royal Pahalgam were bundled-out for 155 runs in allotted 20 overs of game.

Super Royal played 20 overs of game with its 7 wickets falling down in a total of 155 runs. Mujeeb Ahmad contributed 38 runs and Nisar Ahmad 23 runs while as rest of the players could not show much in the ground.

Chasing the target of 156, Blad Eagle Banihal got tremendous start from the opening batsmen which made them to chase down the target of 156 runs, while as defending the target of 156 runs bowlers of Super Royal Pahalgam gave its 100% in the ground but at the end they could not be successful.

However, the match went to an interesting and pressure situation when bald eagle needed 11 runs in 6 balls at a point the game was fully dominated by Super Royal Pahalgam team but two down batsman Yasir Iqbal of Blad Eagle Banihal stayed at one end till last shot of victory, thereby hitting a tremendous knock of 56 runs not out.

Blad Eagle Banihal chased down the target of 156 runs in final over of game losing its 7 wickets In addition to Yasir’s 56 runs Muzaffar Ahmad also scored 19 runs for his team.

Yasir Ahmad was awarded Man of the match for his brilliant knock of 56 runs in the game.
