Srinagar, Sep 21: Fire gutted a mosque in Khawaja Bagh area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district early Friday, reports said.
They said that fire broke out in the second storey of Masjid Rehmat in Khawaja Bagh Baramulla, damaging it completely.
Firefighters and locals doused the flames and prevented the fire from spreading to nearby localities. However, the second storey of the mosque suffered extensive damages.
An official said the cause of the fire is being ascertained.
