Srinagar: Sopore police has arrested a drug peddler and recovered contraband substance from his possession.
Police in a statement said that a police party of Police Post Watergam headed by DO Watergam laid a naka in their jurisdiction. During naka checking, a Swift car bearing registration number JK05F-4926 was intercepted. On checking, 05 strips of Spasmoproxyvan were recovered from the possession of Danish Mir son of Bashir Ahmad Mir resident of Behrampora.
“In this regard, a case FIR number 120/2018 under relevant sections of law has been registered and investigation has been taken up,” said the statement.
