Shaheens Thrash Bunpora Lions by 1 Wicket

Pattan, August 19: The second match of Wanigam Super League-2 (WSL) was played between Bunpora Lions and Shaheens on Sunday here at Wanigam Playground.

Batting first, Bunpora Lions scored 126 runs in allotted 18 overs. Shaheens while chasing the set target lost two wickets in the form of their openers, in first 4 overs.

The middle-order batsmen, Sameer and Basit Bashir, build a solid partnership of 45 runs and thereby led its team to a victory as Shaheens won the match by 1 wicket.

Yawar Gasha was declared man of the match for his brilliant bowling spell of 4 overs in which he gave away 17 runs and took 3 important wickets.
