FCC Khanabal defeats Hussain Cricket Club by 16 Runs

Anantnag, July 28: In the ongoing Mirza Ghalib T20 cricket tournament at Govt Degree College (Boys) Anantnag, FCC Khanabal faced Hussain Cricket club and defeated them by 16 runs.

After winning the toss,  FCC Khanabal elected to bat first and scored 142 runs in allotted 20 overs with its 6 wickets falling down.

Faisal Ali from FCC Khanabal scored 71 for his team as he hit 4 sixes and 4 boundaries during his innings.

Slog overs of the match were positive for FCC Khanabal, in last two overs of first innings FCC Khanabal scored 33 runs and during these two overs Faisal completed his half century.

In the second innings of the match, Hussain CC could score only 125 runs with its 9 wickets falling down.  At one point it seemed that Hussain CC can chase the target easily, but Bowling from other side kept them tight and kept them from reach the target.

Aadil Ahmad and Umar Ahmad of Hussain CC played innings of 37 runs and 15 runs for their team, while as the rest of the players could not do much for their team as Hussain Cricket club lost the match by 16 runs.

Faisal Ali of FCC Khanabal was awarded Man of the match for his brilliant knock of 71 runs.
