July, 14: A PCPG meeting was today organized by Srinagar police at Police Station Rajbagh which was chaired by SHO Police Station Rajbagh, Ayaz Geelani, an official press release issued here said adding that the meeting was in continuation of the efforts aimed to strengthen police public relations.
The press release further added that a good number of ‘respectable citizens’ of the area participated in the meeting and highlighted various issues of public importance including parking on roads, non-availability of bus stand at Jawahar Nagar, Non-availability of CCTV cameras, non availability of street lights at important junctions, etc.
Referring to the issues highlighted by the participants, the chairing officer assured them that issues pertaining to police shall be solved in shortest possible time and the rest shall be taken up with the civil administration for redressal on priority.
