Srinagar police seeks help to trace missing boy

Srinagar: Police has sought help of general public in tracing a boy, who is missing since 4th of July 2018.

A police statement said that one person Aabid Ali Sheikh, In-charge Shahjar Home Inderhama Hostel of boarding school Shahjar, reported in Police Station Zakoora that a student Altaf Ahmad Mir, 14 years old, son of Ghulam Ahmad Mir resident of Magam, Handwara has gone missing after leaving for school, located at Khanyar, (Govt School Khaliqpora Khanyar) from his hostel.

The boy is wearing gray pants, check shirt (school uniform) and is about 5 feet height, said the statement, adding, an FIR has been registered in Police Station Zakoora in this regard and investigation has been started.

“Anybody having any information regarding the missing boy may kindly inform Police Station Zakoora on 9596770589, PCR Srinagar on 9596222550, 9596222551 or Police Control Room Kashmir on 100,” added the statement.
