Hurriyat (G) concerned over nocturnal raids
Srinagar, June 28; All Parties Hurriyat Conference (G) in a press release has expressed serious concern over the frequent night raids on the residences of former militants and ‘pro-freedom political activists and leaders’.
The statement denounced the authorities for ‘harassing senior APHC leader Ab Ahad Waza and Master Ali Mohammad (Bandipora)’, saying the forces personnel deployed in Awoora Zurhama forces camp and local SOG camp harassed and intimidated inmates. Hurriyat in its statement strongly condemned the arrest of Ab Hamid Parey, Khurshid Ahmad Hajjam, Nisar Ahmad Rather, Gh Hassan Shah , Mohd Muzaffar Lone (Hajin Bandipora) and Shakil Ahmad Sofi ( Baramulla) by SOG and police, saying authorities detained these activists on flimsy and fabricated grounds .
