Congress holds meet, reviews overall political scenario in the State

Srinagar: The J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) today held a meeting of senior party leaders to review the overall socio-political scenario obtaining in the backdrop of imposition of Governor’s rule in the State and expressed anguish over the current situation prevailing in the valley.

JKPCC President G.A. Mir presided over the meeting in which senior party leaders and legislators were present.

Former Union Minister Dr. Karan Singh was present in the meeting.

The meeting while taking stock of the current political situation in the State, held threadbare discussions with regard to overall socio-political scenario obtaining in the State in the backdrop of the imposition of Governor’s Rule in the State and blamed both PDP BJP for pushing the entire State to wall.

The meeting also blamed BJP for the crisis in the State saying the BJP while eyeing on 2019 Lok Sabha elections pulled out from the Govt to save its image as BJP has lost trust of the people of Jammu.

The meeting also discussed the mis-governance and misrule on the part of PDP BJP coalition in the State, holding them responsible for the deterioration situation in the valley and in border areas.

The meeting also lashed out at BJP over failing the people of Jammu on every count, saying that BJP cannot escape the responsibility of the damages caused to the State, as the two parties have equally ruled the State for more than three years.

JKPCC reiterated its appeal to people to maintain peace and contribute to overall development of the State, for the fact, it is the peace and stability, which stands guarantee to safety, security and developmental of the people.
