Srinagar, Jun 07: The Centre has apprised Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti about its stand on the state’s demand for return of two power projects, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh said here today.

“We have spoken to the chief minister about it and she is satisfied. Don’t worry,” Singh told reporters here on being asked about the return of power projects.

Avoiding a direct reply as to whether the power projects would be returned, he did not divulge what the Centre has conveyed to Mufti on the issue.

The return of two power projects operated by the NHPC in the state is one of the key points in the ‘agenda of alliance’ of the BJP-PDP coalition government in Jammu and Kashmir.
