Missing would be bride found murdered by her husband in Mohra Uri

Uri: Three days after 25 year old would-be-bride went missing mysteriously from Baramulla  when she went for an outing with her husband, the young bride was found murdered allegedly by her husband who confessed to have concealed the dead body beneath rocks in streamlet near forests at Mohura Uri in north kashmir’s Baramulla district.

Family sources said that young  bride  Rifat Bano daughter of Bashir Ahmed Khan resident of Gujar Patti Sangri Colony Baramulla went missing mysteriously when she went for an outing with her fiance.

According to police statement dead body of missing murdered girl  has been recovered from Mohra Uri.

Statement reads that family of girl lodged missing/abduction report on 11 May in Police Station Baramulla with case FIR No. 79/2108 U/S 366,109 RPC.

After the course of investigation the Faince of missing girl Sajad Ahmed Bhatti son of Siraj din Bhatti resident of Mohra Uri was emerged to be the prime suspect who was arrested and during questioning he confessed the murder and led the police team to Mohra, Uri and upon his instance the dead body of missing murdered girl was recovered statement reads.

Family sources said that Sajad had developed illicit relationships with a woman Misra who is married with four children.

“It was Misra who acted as matchmaker tied the matrimonial relationship between the slain girl and the accused husband and recently on engagement Nikkha was solemnised,” said a family friend Amir.

Meanwhile officials in police told that dead body of missing murdered girl will be handover to parents after completion of medico legal formalities, added that further investigation into this case is going on.

The body is in District Hospital Baramulla for autopsy and will be handover to family,  a police officer said.
