Srinagar, May 10: An Army soldier allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle in Baramulla district of north Kashmir, police said today.
Sepoy Gurdeep Singh took the extreme step while he was on sentry duty at a camp in Kunzer area of north Kashmir yesterday, the police said.
Singh was shifted to a medical inspection room where doctors declared him brought dead, they said, adding a case was registered.
