World Liver Day Organized at District Hospital Anantnag
Anantnag: A CME was organized today to observe World Liver Day at District Hospital Anantnag and was attended by doctors, paramedical staff of hospital and officials of other hospitals of the District.
Dr. Majid Mirab, Medical Superintendent, in his inaugural speech welcomed all the guests and laid emphasis on management of Bio Medical Waste. He also said that present health care needs a holistic approach and the need of the hour is to implement the same in letter and spirit.
Lectures were delivered by Dr. Hakim Mohammad Shafi on Hepatitis C, Dr. Ghulam Jeelani Romshoo on Drug Induced Hepatitis and Dr. Maskoor Ahmad Beigh on Hepatitis B.
At the end of the function, a question answer session was also held.
