Internet services restored in south Kashmir
Srinagar, Apr 08: High and low-speed Internet services were restored in south Kashmir’s Pulwama and Shopian districts on Sunday after being suspended earlier this week.
The mobile Internet services were suspended in Pulwama following Friday’s gunfight in Kangan village. A local militant Mussavir Wani was killed in the gunfight.
However, only low-speed Internet service was restored in Shopian district. The service was suspended in Shopian on April 01 following two gunfights in Dragad and Kachdoora villages that left 13 militants, four civilians and three soldiers dead. Over 200 people were injured in forces’ action.
