Pattan: In a fire incident, a plywood cum furniture factory was reduced to ashes night in north Kashmir’s Pattan area.
Witnesses said that fire broke out in ‘Yakoot Plywood Factory’ late last night at about10.30 pm. Although, locals doused the flames and brought the fire under control, furniture worth lakhs was completely gutted in the fire.
The locals alleged that the fire tenders reached late due to which factory got completely damaged.
The cause of fire was not known immediately, officials in Police said, adding investigation in this regard has been taken up.
