3 persons held with arms in Budgam
Srinagar, Mar 15: Police on Thursday claimed to have arrested three persons with some arms and ammunition in central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
Working on an input, Budgam police along with army during a joint raid arrested three persons and seized “incriminating material including three pistols, four magazines and twelve rounds” from their possession, a police spokesman said.
He identified the arrested persons as Faizan-ul-Zaman Bhat, son of Ghulam Qadir Bhat, resident of Kandipora Bijhbehara; Sajad Ahmad Dar, son of Ghulam Rasool Dar, resident of Samboora Pulwama, Miaser Ahmad Dar, son of Mushtaq Ahmad Dar, also resident of Samboora Pulwama.
Police said a blue colored vehicle used by them has been also seized.
A case has been registered and investigations initiated in this regard.
