Shopian, Mar 10: A woman was injured after she was allegedly attacked by her in-laws in Hirpora village of south Kashmir’s Shopian district, police said today.

An official said that the woman, identified as Gulshan (30), suffered serious injuries after she was attacked by her husband and in-laws on Friday.

He said that the woman was immediately referred to SMHS Hospital in Srinagar for treatment.

The official said that her husband was taken into the custody. “A case has been registered,” he said.
