Police public meeting held at Police Station Kralkhud
Srinagar, March 07: PCPG (Police Community Partnership Group) meetings were held at police station Kralkhud and police station Rainawari.
A police spokesman in a statement issued here said that with an aim to strengthen relations with pubic and to establish first hand contact with masses, police station Kralkhud convened a public interaction meeting in which Mohalla Committee members from Basant Bagh, Kralkhud and Mandir Bagh participated.
The meeting was chaired by SHO Police Station Kralkud Manzoor Ahmad .
In the meeting many issues were discussed especially issues related to drug abuse, tenant verification and keeping check on the ruffians and antisocial elements. It was impressed upon all participants to play a vital role in keeping youth away from menace of stone pelting and drug abuse.
The participants raised certain issues to which they were assured that issues pertaining to police will be solved in shortest possible time & the rest will be taken up with the civil administration for their redressal on priority. He also sought their cooperation in fighting social crimes.
They were apprised of their duties as respectable citizens to counter the designs of antisocial elements inimical to peace and tranquility in the area, the spokesman said.
Another such meeting was held at police station Rainawari which was attended by number of senior citizens & Mohalla presidents of Khujyaarbal Saidakadal participated .
The meeting was chaired by SHO Police Station Rainawari Inspector G P Singh. The participants highlighted various issues of public importance like eradicating drug menace & some issues related to civil administration.
Referring to the issues highlighted by the participants SHO Rainawari assured them that issues pertaining to police will be solved in shortest possible time & the rest will be taken up with the civil administration for their redressal on priority. He also sought their cooperation in fighting social crimes.
