SRINAGAR, FEBRUARY 23: Director Agriculture Kashmir Syed Altaf Aijaz Andrabi today chaired an orientation programme for recently elevated Sub-Divisional Agriculture Officers and Sub-Divisional level SMSs at Directorate of Agriculture Lalmandi here.
The Director emphasized upon the officers to acquaint themselves with the civil service rules, work with dedication, making judicious use of funds, and follow the guidelines. He stressed for cent percent expenditure under all centrally sponsored and state-sponsored schemes and asked to ensure no liability is created.
He advised the officers for holding regular awareness camps and training programmes in the farmer’s field. The Director further directed the concerned to reach the farmers at their doorsteps and also impressed upon the officers to get themselves ready for Public Finance Management System (PFMS), which is to be started soon. He asked the officers to utilize their resources and technology for the upliftment of the farming community.
The meeting was attended by Joint Director Agriculture Extension Abdul Rahim Samoon, Joint Director Agriculture Inputs Sajad Ahmad Shah, Deputy Director Agriculture Central G.M. Bichu and other senior officers of the department.
