Jammu: Daughter of senior Congress leader and MLA Kargil, Asgar Karbalai passed away today after meeting with an accident few days back.

Karbalai’s daughter, Zaneb Bi suffered severe burn injuries due to cylinder burst on 11th February 2018 and was undergoing treatment at Mumbai. She expired today morning.

Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti has expressed grief over the demise of daughter of MLA, Kargil, Asgar Karbalai, who passed away today at Mumbai.

The Chief Minister has conveyed her heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family and prayed for peace to the departed soul.

Chairman, Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Council Haji Anayal Ali also condoled the demise.

In his condolence message, the Chairman conveyed his heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.

President JKPCC Ghulam Ahmed Mir and other Senior leaders of the party have expressed deep shock and grief over the sad and untimely demise of Zaneb Bi and conveyed heartfelt condolences to Asgar Karbalai and other family members and relatives.

The entire rank & file of the party have offered their condolences and conveyed their sympathies with the members of bereaved family.

Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah and Working President Omar Abdullah on Friday expressed profound grief over tragic death of the daughter of Member Legislative Assembly, Haji Asgar Ali Karbalai.

Expressing solidarity with the bereaved family, Dr Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah prayed for peace to the departed soul and strength to the family to bear this irreparable loss.

The NC President and the Working President conveyed their condolences to the bereaved family.

General Secretary Mr Ali Mohammed Sagar, Chief Spokesperson, Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi, Provincial Presidents, Devender Singh Rana and Nasir Aslam Wani besides all the MLAs and MLCs of National Conference have also expressed profound grief over the passing away of the daughter of Karbalai.
