Para-commando injured in Hajin after militants open fire on search party

Hajin:A para- trooper of Army was injured in Paribal area of north Kashmir’s Hajin when militants opened fire on army in Bandipora district on Thursday.

Following inputs about the presence of militants in the area 13 RR, 31 RR and SOG launched a cordon and search operation (CASO) in Paribal area of Hajin, official sources said.

As forces tightened the Cordon militants opened fire on the party injuring an army soldier, they said.

The injured army soldier was identified as Gobind Singh of 13 Para of Hajin camp.

Meanwhile when last reports came whole area is under high alert to nab the militants.

Local sources said that stone pelting was going on in the area when the last reports came.
