Flags flew half mast in J&K as mark of respect to Karunanidhi

Srinagar, Aug 08: Flags flew at half mast in Jammu and Kashmir Wednesday as a mark of respect to former Tamil Nadu chief minister M. Karunanidhi who died at a Chennai hospital on Tuesday.

“As a mark of respect to Dr. M. Karunanidhi, former chief minister of Tamil Nadu, who passed away on 7th August, 2018, the National and the State Flags shall fly at half mast on 8th August, 2018 (Wednesday) on all the buildings and places of State capitals (Jammu and Srinagar) where these are flown regularly,” said a government order.
