Super Division FC Views defeat Suffalo Sports by 5-0

Srinagar, July 29: In the ongoing League football Tournament Two matches were played at Synthetic Turf today the 28th of July 2019. In the first match, Super Division FC Views defeated Suffalo Sports by Five Goals to one.

The second match of the Premier Division was played between arch rivals J&K Bank and Lone Star KFC. The teams were introduced to Sarmad Hafeez Administrative Secretary to Govt. Youth Services & Sports and IT Department who was the Chief Guest on the occasion.

Both the teams entered the field of play with their hopes high to return victorious. In the beginning both the teams presented a beautiful show receiving appreciation from the crowd for displaying quality football.

Man-to-man marking, wall passing and lobbing were the main features of the first half of the match.

Both the teams made certain good moves which enthralled the spectators & in the 38th minute of the first half Farhan Ganai of J&K Bank made no mistake in converting a Goal from a nice wall pass.

At half time J&K Bank was leading by one goal. Right from the onset of the second half Lonestar KFC made certain aggressive moves and virtually the entire defence line of J&K bank shattered. Later in one of the counter attacks J&K bank took a splendid shot which hit the crossbar and Lonestar KFC had a narrow escape.

J&K Bank consolidated their position made good moves which finally resulted in a good Goal scored by Aaqib for J&K Bank in the 65th minute. Aaqib’s goal bluffed the Goalkeeper and took him by surprise minutes after Adnan scored the third goal for J&K Bank.

Lonestar KFC tried hard to find the net but could not the match finished with J&K Bank defeated Lonestar KFC by three goals to Nil.

The tournament is organized by District Football Association Srinagar.
