Kargil: Finale of Talent Hunt programme ‘Choona Hai Aasman’ organized by Kargil police under Civic Action Programme was held at Auditorium Hall Kargil.

Addl. SP Kargil Khalid Amin, was the chief guest on the occasion. Senior officers and officials of the district were also present at the event.

A police spokesman said that hundreds of contestants from different areas of District Kargil participated in the event. The aim of the programme was to provide platform to aspiring contestants to showcase their talent and provide them opportunity to carry it forward to state and national level.

It is pertinent to mention here that auditions for the said programme were carried out at DPL Kargil on 22nd and 23rd of June-2019 under three categories Sub-junior, Junior and Senior.  A total of 120 contestants participated in the audition in which ten contestants from each category were selected to perform in the finale.

Addl. SP Kargil in his address to the participants praised the talent of contestants and said that District Police Kargil is committed to provide platform to talented people especially youth in various fields.

At the conclusion of programme cash prizes and participation certificates were distributed among the contestants.

Mementos were presented to Judges, Cultural Experts and musicians. Principal Police Public School Kargil was also felicitated at the event.
