Speaking on the occasion, the Advisor directed the officers to provide weekly reports about the status of various ongoing projects of the department so that effective monitoring can be ensured. He said that the officers should also hold regular meetings in order to remove the bottlenecks if any so that the timelines set for the projects can be met and the project cost escalation and other related things can be effectively checked.

The Advisor said that the power sector is one of the most pivotal sectors of the State and the steps already initiated for its augmentation need to be followed up on regular basis so that the gaps if any are properly checked and the consumers are provided with an adequate amount of power supply.

He further directed that the work on the ongoing languishing projects should also be reviewed on timely basis.  He said the completion of these projects would greatly address the energy lacunae in the State, besides providing the people with quality services.
