PULWAMA, APRIL 24: As part of election arrangements for the ensuing Parliament elections, District Election Officer (DEO) Dr Syed Abid Rashid Shah along with SSP Awantipora, inspected arrangements at Electronic Voting Machines (EVM) distribution and reception centers here today .
The DEO visited distribution/collection Centre for Pampore and Tral Assembly segments at Lethpora where he inspected the special arrangements regarding distribution and collection of EVMs and other material related for election and accommodation of polling staff.
He also inspected the security arrangements for Material Management Cell (MMC) and Strong Room where EVMs are kept.
Later, he also supervised the training session of polling staff at EDI Pampore.
Assistant Returning Officers and other concerned also accompanied the DEO during the visit.
