Srinagar, Mar 24: The principal of a Jamaat-e-Islami-run private school was booked under Public Safety Act in south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Sunday.
Reports said Mubashir Hussain, principal Shah-e-Hamdan Institute was booked under PSA and sent to a jail in Kathua district of Jammu.
Hussain, a resident of Awneera village of the district, according to reports, was detained a few weeks ago during a crackdown launched on the party.
