A group of students told Kashmir Images that public transport like cabs, buses and auto rickshaws remain unavailable during evening hours. “We have to wait for hours for public transport at new Ganderbal bus stand. The concerned officials are taking no steps to regulate the public transport in the district,” they said.

They further said that students who attend evening classes at the tuition centers in Ganderbal have to face huge inconvenience in absence of public transport.

Despite repeated attempts, ARTO Ganderbal was not available for comments.
