JAMMU, MARCH 23: Governor Satya Pal Malik today paid rich tribute to martyrs Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev on their 88th martyrdom anniversary.
Saluting their martyrdom, Governor observed that the sacrifices made by the revolutionaries in India’s freedom struggle will always inspire the youth to serve selflessly towards the better interest of the nation.
Their sacrifice and courage will forever be remembered by the generations to come, he added.
Meanwhile, Governor Satya Pal Malik paid rich tribute to Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia on his 109th birth anniversary.
Recalling his long association with Dr Lohia, Governor described him as a great socialist leader, a reformer, a prolific thinker and a man of substance, who dedicated his life to the welfare of the people, especially the deprived sections of society.
Dr Lohia’s ideas and thoughts have greatly inspired me to serve the people at the grassroots level, he added.
