Bandipora, Feb 05: The failure of authorities to provide better road connectivity in Bandipora is causing immense hardships to the people here.
According to the locals, the main road of Aloosa Tehsil via Malangam which connects the former to other parts of the Bandipora district is lying in shambles for a long time now.
“The road has developed lot of potholes and thereby posing a constant threat to the lives of residents. A small pit which has formed near Lahipora Aloosa is making it hard for the vehicles to get through,” they said.
They alleged the authorities of turning blind eye towards the issue saying that they don’t seem to be bothered about the problems being faced by the people. “We appeal the district authorities to look into the matter and start macadamization of the road as soon as possible.”
