Jammu: President, J&K Pradesh Congress, Ghulam Ahmed Mir has assured that all divisions of the state including Jammu region shall get their due share in every sphere of life when Congress is voted to power.

A press release issued here said that the PCC Chief retreated that congress would ensure justice and equal treatment to Jammu region and all parts when voted to power as the party was committed to ensure equal treatment and equitable share to the three regions, besides giving special attentions to the developmental need of backward pockets of the state.

While referring to what he termed as ‘massive developmental works’ initiated by the UPA Govt, he further said that congress policies were based on equitable approach in every sphere adding that setting  up of Central Universities, Super Specialist Hospitals in Jammu and Srinagar and other such similar institutions and infrastructure development of varies regions were some of the achievements of Congress party. He also referred to setting up of five medical colleges in the state while blaming that the current regime at the Centre was busy misleading the masses from reality.
